Eric Johnson

Eric was killed in a traffic accident August 28, 1997 in Portland, Oregon. He was a plumber and enroute to a job when a young woman driving with only her Learner's Permit and her younger brother along ran a stop sign entering in front of his service vehicle. In his effort to brake, swerve and effort to avoid the other driver, his van equipped with plumping tools flipped - killing him instantly. The two occupants of the offending vehicle were unharmed. The following March his son Eric, Jr. (now 11) was born and he still resides in Portland with his mother and half-brother. In addition to his son, Eric is survived by his parents; his sister Emily who lives in Sweden with her husband Martin and 2 year old daughter Molly; and by his brother Colin who lives in West Seattle with his wife Viktoria and their daughter Zoe' (age 2) and son Kelen (age 2 months).
