Since high school I've come to realize that, contrary to the comments I wrote in our senior yearbook, I don't want to own the world, but to honor the One whose world it is.
After completing a B.A. at the UW in 1994 and Master of Divinity at Western Seminary 1999 I pastored a church in Portland, OR for three years (similar to Driscoll's Mars Hill Church in Seattle without the "cool" factor). I'm now finishing up my dissertation for completion of a Ph.D. in American church history. To Julia's dismay (she's actually handling it quite well), we are relocating to Richmond, VA with the company I've worked for over the last five years, Salem Communications.
Looking forward to catching up with folks through these profiles. Wow, it's hard to believe it will be twenty years!
